A still life is a work of art that focuses on inanimate subjects. Usually, the subjects are commonplace objects. That can include both manmade objects (such as vases, items of clothing, and consumer products) and natural objects (like plants, food, rocks, and shells). Make sure your object is in focus! We don't want any blurry pictures. It can be an every day ordinary object or something that is meaningful to you. It can be something you were given and have held on to for awhile, a toy or belonging that represents your interests or who you are, or an ordinary object in your home that you like to look at. You will be photographing your object or objects by arranging them how you want them to be placed. You can use any photography apps to edit your final image. I like "photo editor" because it has a lot of features and it's free! Please upload your images when they are done and I can put them on vapaonline.weebly.com for all to see! Remember to play with different perspectives (high-bird's eye and low-worm's eye) as well as different angles for a more pleasing image. Student Examples: THanks for participating!
